Adults can find expression for their personal interests in many civic organizations like the Industrial Forum, Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Lions, Sertoma, Quota and Zonta. Fraternal organizations include: Masons, Knights of Columbus, The Moose, The Elks, Polish Falcons, Orioles, Eagles, numerous veterans organizations and others.

The Weather

Few, if any, other areas of the country can boast of the variety of scenery and seasons that we enjoy. Spring, Summer and Fall in New York are delightful.

We have a high degree of summer sunshine. And the refreshing breezes from nearby Lake Erie provide pleasant evenings.

Our Autumn is a wondrous sight of brilliant foliage under clear, dry skies. "Indian Summers" are not uncommon and often extend into mid or late October.

Sure, we have our winter storms, but they are preferable to the forest fires, tornadoes, earthquakes and hurricanes which plague other states. We are equipped to clear snowfall in a matter of hours. We lose little time due to snow, and enjoy the rich opportunity for exciting winter sports. In fact, the changing seasons seem to make people more productive.
