Having been born and raised in the Town of Lancaster, I've been a personal witness and active participant in its growth and progress. I've seen it change from quaint little village communities with a few rural areas to one of the fastest growing towns in Western New York. As a member of the Town Board for the past fourteen years, I have worked diligently with people from all walks of life whose primary purpose is to make Lancaster a better place in which to live, work, and raise children. Today, through teamwork, planning and innovation, Lancaster is a combination of friendly residential areas and thriving business and industrial corridors. Although my roots are firmly planted, we, as a community, welcome newcomers. we are a caring community who looks after our neighbors. The town has activities from early childhood day care to recreational, social and cultural activities for adolescents, adults and senior citizens. We are proud of our excellence in education both in our public and private schools. Our founding fathers diverse religious values still flourish in the many churches prominently scattered throughout the town. Lancaster is fortunate to have access to many outstanding systems of transportation and we have many natural resources. However, our most important resource still remains our people steeped in pride and firmly committed to traditional family values.
